Having ES's in my childhood and again when I needed help with cows was the best choice of breed I could have made. Not only great working dogs but the best family companions ever. Are all your pups spoken for?

Your pups are adorable and as I said I have had ES's. I was speaking to my daughter today who has three of them and realized I have had them for 58 years. My daughter has three of them and we were talking about your pups. Would you let me know which two you do have available.

As you must know by now, my daughter Kathleen has written you about one of your pups. I was so excited last night that she decided to start a search for a new baby that as grandma I just had to know if any of yours were available. I understand you picked a male to be a possible therapy dog in the future. May I say on behalf of my daughter and a grandma to furbabies if this happens to be "the one" for both of you to decide I would like to add my grandfurbabies are wonderful and very accepting. I, myself have done rescue for over 30 yrs and mainly for help getting mill survivors (the breeding stock) out and into hands of adoring families. ( I belong to Wolfspirits Toy Breed Puppy Mill Rescue) and my daughter helped in adapting them to their new surroundings. Her Bristol an ES was from a sad situation in which after years of love is the joy of the children at the library, called BARK program and Binghamton University where the students separated from their homes and pets get to spend time with these companion dogs. Tally her other ES was doing fly ball with Bristol until the team leader was diagnosed with cancer and shortly later died. Gideon her youngest ES did off lead, air-scent search and rescue. Since her girls are much older now and she feels they are past their comfort in going to various events, she is looking for a pup to continue her life passion. Well, enough of grandma.. I am sure Kathleen will fill you in on any and all questions you have. Just to let you know also we have used the same vet since 1989 and our dogs as well are up to date on vaccinations. We have five mill survivors ourselves..we usually keep the ones who are unadoptable for their sake to enjoy the senior years in comfort. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this. Suzy Huether (Kath's Caganek interfering mom :)

Suzy,
It sounds like you've had a very fulfilling life with ES! I got very excited when I read about the type of home he would have if he went home with Kathleen! Eric is the one I have in mind for her right now but will know more as their personalities progress :) Sounds like a perfect home for one of my pups!
